Krasnodar region is the leader in the Southern Federal District in terms of industrial production

Krasnodar Region includes more than 7,000 industrial enterprises of various specializations, where about 80,000 people are employed.

One of such growth points of the regional economy is associated with the creation of a network of industrial (industrial) parks on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory - specially prepared investment sites on a turnkey basis, which make it possible to ensure the start of production and minimize the costs of investors as soon as possible. Krasnodar Territory is the oldest oil producing region of Russia and has a long history of the development of the oil industry. There are 5 oil refineries in the region - LLC RN-Tuapse Refinery, LLC Afipsky NPZ, CJSC Krasnodar Refinery - Yaradaronekoneft, LLC Ilsky NPZ, LLC Slavyansk ECO.

Production of construction materials in the Krasnodar region is the largest sector in the Southern Federal District. A wide range of construction materials are manufactured in the region, including cement, wall materials, reinforced and concrete products, dry construction mixes, gypsum products and artiicial construction materials. In recent years, more than 60 new and modernized production facilities with modern technologies and imported equipment were put into operation to manufacture products conforming to European standards.

The light industry of the Krasnodar region is represented by enterprises of textile and clothing production, as well as the production of leather, leather goods and footwear.

The woodworking and furniture industry adjacent to it is actively developing in the Krasnodar region - enterprises produce MDF, sawn timber, parquet, furniture panels, furniture preparation, molded products, furniture, etc. Kuban furniture makers produce the whole range of furniture products: from solid wood to furniture economy class and furniture on the metal frame.

The machine-building complex of the Krasnodar region is represented by enterprises of oil and gas, railway, agricultural and food engineering, as well as electrical, instrument-making, machine-tool, aerospace and defense industries.

Enterprises of the metallurgical complex in Krasnodar region produce steel cast billets, long products, hardware, various metalwork for civil and industrial construction, roofing materials and other types of metal products.

In Krasnodar region, a wide range of consumer packaging, transport packaging, cellulose base, household and sanitary goods, printing companies and other types of products from the pulp and paper and printing industry are also produced.
